How do I change or edit my profile picture?

Your Profile Picture (Avatar) is your public identity on Gameflip, displayed on your storefront, listings, and community comments. You can update your avatar anytime using a desktop browser, mobile web, or using the iOS/Android app. 

Image & Policy Requirements

  • Supported File Formats: JPG, PNG, and static GIF (animated GIFs are unsupported).
  • File Size & Dimensions: Maximum file size is 5 MB. Recommended dimensions are 512 × 512 pixels (1:1 square ratio).
  • Prohibited Content: Avatars containing explicit/NSFW material, hate speech, or official Gameflip branding (impersonation) violate the Code of Conduct and will be removed.
  • Display Delay: If your new avatar doesn't appear right away, wait 5 to 15 minutes for the Gameflip CDN and browser cache to update.

Step-by-Step Instructions: How to Update Your Profile Picture

On the Website (Desktop or Mobile Browser)

  1. Log in to your Gameflip account.
  2. Click your current Profile Picture in the top-right corner of the page header.
  3. In the dropdown, click the little Camera icon next to your avatar.
  4. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to upload a new image.
  5. Make sure your image file is within the allowed size limits (check the upload prompt for details).
  6. Click Upload to save your new profile picture.

On the Gameflip App (iOS / Android)

  1. Open the Gameflip app and sign in.
  2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner, then tap your current avatar.
  3. Tap the Camera icon to open your device’s camera or gallery.
  4. Choose a photo from your gallery or take a new one with the camera.
  5. A white square will show the portion of the photo that becomes your avatar—adjust it as needed.
  6. Confirm the image, and your Profile Picture will be updated.
