How do I change or verify my email?

Adding or updating your email address on Gameflip is pretty easy. You can update and verify your email address at any time through your Gameflip account settings on the website or mobile app. To finalize any email change, you must enter the verification code or click the confirmation link sent to your new inbox. Follow the steps outlined below to update the email verified on your Gameflip account. 

How to update your email address on Gameflip

On Web Browser (Desktop & Mobile Web)

1. Log in to your account and navigate to Menu > Settings.
2. Under Account, locate the Email field and enter your new email address.
3. Check your new email inbox (including spam/junk folders) for a verification message from Gameflip.
4. Click the link in the email or enter the verification code into the Pending Email field in your Gameflip settings to activate the new address.

On Mobile App (Android & iOS)

1. Open the Gameflip app, tap your profile name, then tap the edit (pen and paper) icon in the upper right.

    

2. Tap the Email field to edit or add an address.
   
3. Check your new inbox for the verification email sent by Gameflip.
4. Enter the verification code into the app's confirmation field and tap Confirm. 

Note: You need to verify your email address so it becomes linked to your Gameflip account properly.

Why do I need to verify my email?

Verifying your email address ensures your Gameflip account remains secure and fully functional: 

• Account Recovery: A verified email helps you regain access if you ever lose your login credentials.
• Notifications: You’ll receive important updates—like item delivery, listing sales, or alerts—to the correct address.
• Payouts: Some withdrawal methods (like Skrill) require your Gameflip email to match the email on your payout account.
• If an email you linked bounces back, it becomes unverified again. You’ll need to re-verify.
