What to do if I forgot my password?

Important: Sign-In Method Matters

When you log into your Gameflip account, you must use the same method you chose when you initially set up your account.

• If you created your account using Facebook, Google, or Apple Login, you will not have a traditional Gameflip username and password. You must sign in using the respective social media buttons.

This guide is for users who originally set up their account using a traditional username and password and have since forgotten their password.

The Password Recovery Process

Password recovery is a straightforward process, provided you have verified your mobile phone number and/or email address with Gameflip. These are the only channels through which Gameflip communicates for account recovery.

1. Start the Process: Click the "Forgot your password?" link found underneath the "Sign in" button on the login pop-up screen.

   

2. Account Identification: Enter your verified username or mobile phone number.

   • Tip: We recommend using your mobile phone number, as it is the most reliable way for our system to identify your account.
      

     

     

3. Receive Instructions: Instructions to reset your password will be sent to your verified mobile phone number (via SMS) and/or your verified email address.

   

4. Reset Your Password: Follow the link or instructions you received to create a new password.

Ensuring that both your mobile phone number and email address are verified is vital, as these are the sole channels through which Gameflip will communicate with you for password and username recovery purposes. For instructions on how to verify your email, please refer to this FAQ article.
