Why is my account suspended?

Creating fake listings, selling stolen or invalid items, or attempting to deceive other users through scams or false claims.

Harassment or abuse

Using disrespectful, discriminatory, threatening, or inappropriate language toward other users, sellers, or Gameflip staff.

Inappropriate content

Posting or sharing offensive material, images, or comments that go against community standards.

Exploiting Gameflip’s systems

Manipulating listings, credits, or ratings for personal gain. Exploiting bugs or system vulnerabilities.

Fraudulent chargebacks or claims

Filing a chargeback after receiving a valid item, or submitting false non-delivery or refund claims.

Selling prohibited or restricted items

Listing items not allowed on Gameflip—such as beta codes, stolen goods, banned accounts, or any product that violates a game developer’s terms of service.

Using multiple accounts

Creating or using more than one account for the purpose of self-buying, manipulating ratings, or bypassing restrictions.

Off-platform transactions

Attempting to buy or sell outside Gameflip’s system. This includes asking another user to pay through another platform (e.g., PayPal, Discord, Telegram, or other social media).

Depending on the severity or frequency of the violation, suspensions can be temporary (lasting a few days or weeks) or permanent (resulting in a permanent ban).

How to Avoid Future Account Suspensions

To keep your account safe and in good standing:

• Always follow Gameflip’s Terms of Use and Code of Conduct.
• Keep all transactions and communication within Gameflip.
• Avoid using offensive language or posting inappropriate content.
• Only sell or list items you legally own.
• Never attempt to manipulate ratings, listings, or payment systems.
