How to Get Verified and Start Selling on Gameflip

At Gameflip, we aim to provide a safe and secure experience for sellers and complying with laws. As long as what you are selling isn’t among our prohibited items, you usually can start selling very quickly. To get started on Selling, you will need:

Creating a Gameflip account and verify both your mobile phone and email address
Depending on what you sell, there will be additional verifications, including but not limited to identity (ID) verification

Selling most digital items requires ID verification. Some exceptions may be given for those who sell a few game items. However, frequent selling will require ID verification. Below are the requirements to sell different types of items.

* Card verification is only accepted for limited number of infrequent sales. To sell more often, ID verification is required. You need at least one credit or debit card added to your account (prepaid cards are not accepted).

If you need additional approval for the category you want to sell, you can submit the request to our customer support team. In the request, you must specify how you can provide those items or services and whether you had the experience selling those before.

Setting Up Your Seller Profile

When you list your first item, you’ll be prompted to set up your seller account. If your email or phone number isn’t verified yet, you’ll need to do that now. You’ll also be able to create a public store profile—choose a unique display name and custom avatar/background to make your brand stand out.

If you haven’t verified your identity yet, you will be asked to do so. Depending on what you are selling, you may use a credit/debit card for verification. Having your identity verified allows you to sell in most available categories and more frequently.
