Selling gift cards and digital codes on Gameflip is a straightforward process, provided your account meets basic verification requirements.
Seller Prerequisites & Requirements
- Account Verification: You must verify your phone number in Settings and complete ID verification at Menu > Wallet > Verify before listing gift cards.
- Receipt Retention: You must keep proof of purchase/receipts for at least 6 months after the sale in case of future buyer disputes.
- Code Rules: Codes must not have expiration dates, hidden fees, or require in-person activation.
Step-by-Step: How to List a Gift Card or Digital Code
Step 1: Start Your Listing
- Go to Menu > Start Selling in the Gameflip app or on the website.
- Select Gift Card as the listing category and click Next.
Step 2: Provide Gift Card Details
- Select the Brand, Currency and Balance (e.g., “PlayStation Store US$25”).
- If it is a physical gift card, upload a clear screenshot or photo of the code or gift card to confirm authenticity. (Security Warning: Never expose the redeemable code in public listing photos).
Step 3: Add Region & Usage Restrictions
- Include the Region Restriction (e.g., “US only,” “EU,” “Japan,” etc.).
- If there are any special conditions, list them (e.g., valid for new accounts only or other limitations/usage restrictions).
Step 4: Set Your Price
- You can price your gift card or code freely. Gameflip recommends checking similar listings to pick a competitive price.
Step 5: Choose Delivery Method
Select how the buyer will receive the gift card or code:
- Auto-delivery for instant access.
- Manual delivery / Coordinated transfer if you prefer to send the code after the buyer purchases your listing.
Step 6: Complete and Publish
Review all fields for accuracy, then submit your listing! Once it’s published, buyers can see it, buy it, and contact you for more info.
