Absolutely — Gameflip isn’t just for gaming! We support a variety of non-gaming gift cards that can be redeemed online or through apps, expanding your options and reaching more buyers. Here’s how it works:
What is Allowed?
Sellers may list digital gift cards that can be redeemed online or through official mobile apps within the following categories:
Streaming & Entertainment: Digital codes for video streaming services, music networks, and digital anime or entertainment hubs.
Food Delivery & Dining: Gift cards redeemable on major restaurant platforms or nationwide food delivery applications.
Retail & Marketplace: Electronic gift cards valid for general online merchandise, electronics, department stores, or apparel retailers.
Travel & Rideshare: Digital codes for booking accommodations or utilizing on-demand transportation services.
Policy Limits & Requirements
Online Redemption Only*: The card must be fully redeemable digitally. Any card requiring physical presentation or in-person activation at a storefront is strictly prohibited.
Expiration Dates: The gift card must be valid. If the code contains an expiration date or specific regional/currency restrictions, these must be clearly stated in the listing description.
* Food & Dining gift cards that can be redeemed online and cannot be delivered (can only be picked up by going to the restaurant) are also strictly forbidden.
What is Not Allowed?
To guard the quality and security of our platform, the following items are forbidden:
Prepaid Credit or Debit Cards: Private-label or open-loop prepaid cards (such as prepaid Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover money cards).
Physical Receipts & Merchandise Credits: Store credit issued via physical paper receipts, return vouchers, or non-digital credits.
Crypto & Financial Vouchers: Any codes involving cryptocurrency wallets, exchange tokens, or financial investment vouchers.

Good Practices When Selling Non-Gaming Gift Cards
Exclusive Listings: Do not list the same code on multiple platforms simultaneously.
Individual Listings: List each code separately; bundled or bulk-packaged codes are not allowed.
Verification: Verify the exact balance and validity of the code immediately before listing it.
Use the correct category: your listing will be found easely by buyers.
Redemption instructions are a must: in your description so buyers know how to use the card.
Proof of Ownership: Keep your original digital purchase receipts or activation confirmations. In the event of a dispute, Gameflip may require these to verify your transaction.
State any restrictions: such as region-locks or expiration dates.
- Provide good customer support: polite, clear communication leads to better reviews.
What Happens If You Violate These Rules
If a listing does not adhere to these guidelines, Gameflip may take corrective actions, including:
Removing the listing.
Issuing account warnings or restricting selling privileges.
Permanent account suspension for repeated or high-risk violations.
Removing listings at the retailer’s request to stay compliant and keep the marketplace safe.
If you’re ever unsure whether a card you want to list is allowed, or if you have questions about how to sell it properly, please contact Gameflip Support before posting your listing.
By following these guidelines, you’ll help keep Gameflip a reliable and trusted marketplace for both sellers and buyers.
