When you sell an item on Gameflip, the buyer has a specific timeframe to confirm receipt of the product. Here’s what happens when a buyer doesn’t complete the transaction after you’ve sent the item.
Buyer Review Period
Once the item has been delivered, the buyer has 3 days to accept and complete the transaction.
This review period allows the buyer enough time to:
• Verify that the item was received.
• Check that the digital code, key, or product works as described.
• Ensure there are no issues before marking the transaction complete.
If the buyer takes no action within these 3 days, the system will automatically mark the sale as “Complete”, and your payment will be released to your Gameflip Wallet.
Important Notes
• The 3-day waiting period cannot be shortened, extended, or changed by Gameflip Support. It’s an automatic protection rule applied to all transactions to ensure fairness for both buyers and sellers.
• Sellers do not need to contact Gameflip Support during this waiting time unless a dispute arises.
• Once the transaction auto-completes, funds are available to withdraw or use on the platform.
Ratings and Feedback
After the sale is finalized, both the buyer and seller can leave ratings for up to 30 days.
• Ratings are optional but encouraged to help maintain trust in the community.
• Ratings will not appear if the transaction was canceled, refunded, or completed through a dispute resolution by Gameflip Support.
What You Can Do as a Seller
If the buyer hasn’t marked the item as received after 3 days, simply wait — the system will automatically finalize the transaction for you.
However, make sure that:
• You’ve provided valid proof of delivery (e.g., shipment tracking or screenshots showing digital code delivery).
• You keep all communication and evidence inside the Gameflip platform, as external conversations can’t be verified by support.
