How to Report Listings or Users on Gameflip

Reporting suspicious listings, abusive comments, or fraudulent accounts on Gameflip notifies moderation teams to review policy violations and maintain marketplace safety. Reports can be submitted directly through item listings or user profile pages on Web, Android, and iOS. 

Important Reporting Rules & Best Practices

• Anonymity: All user reports remain strictly confidential. Reported users cannot see who filed the report.
• Provide Details: Specific policy violation details (e.g., off-platform payment attempts, offensive media, false listings) expedite moderation reviews.
• Ongoing Disputes: If a trade issue or scam involves an active transaction, click Hold Transaction on the order page in addition to reporting the user/listing.

Step-by-Step Reporting Instructions by Platform

1. Reporting Inappropriate Listings

• On the Web Browser: Open the listing, click the Report button under the description. Select a reason that best fits the issue, provide details, and click Send.
• On the Android App: Open the listing, scroll to the bottom, tap Report, select the topic, describe the issue, and tap the arrow to submit.
• On the iOS App: Open the listing, tap the three-dot icon, choose Report Inappropriate, select a topic, explain the issue, then tap the Arrow icon to send.

2. Reporting Abusive or Fraudulent Users

• On the Web Browser: Visit the user’s profile page and click the Report button. Select the violation, add details, and click Send.
• On the Android App: Open the user profile, tap Report, select the topic, describe the user’s conduct, and tap the Arrow icon to submit.
• On the iOS App: View the user profile, tap the Three-Dots icon, choose Report Inappropriate, select a topic, explain the issue, and tap the Arrow icon to send.

What Happens After You Submit a Report

1. Moderation Review: Gameflip's trust and safety team evaluates the reported listing or profile against community guidelines.
2. Action Taken: If a violation is confirmed, Gameflip may issue warnings, remove listings, restrict messaging, or permanently ban the user.
