Recording your screen during an in-game item trade or code redemption provides video proof of a completed or failed delivery. If a dispute arises, Gameflip Support may request uncropped video footage to verify that you followed proper transfer procedures and resolve the issue quickly.
Key Video Evidence Requirements
- Unedited Footage: Videos must be continuous, uncropped, and unedited (no cuts or blur effects).
- Full Process Captured: Recording must start before initiating the trade/redemption and end after checking your inventory/balance.
- Submission Method: Upload footage to an unlisted YouTube video and share the viewable link in your support ticket.
Why you should record an item delivery
- Proof of Delivery: It shows that you followed the agreed-upon transfer process.
- Defence Against Fraud: It protects both you and the buyer from potential scams or misunderstandings.
- Faster Dispute Resolution: The right video helps us review and resolve disputes more quickly.

- Show Listing Details: Briefly display the Gameflip purchase/listing page (showing item name, order ID, or code) before switching to the game or redemption screen.
- Keep the Original File: Save the raw video file on your device in case Support requests additional verification.
- Include Character/Account Names: Make sure both buyer and seller in-game names or account IDs are clearly visible in the footage during trade.
How to Share Your Video with Support
- Upload your recorded file to YouTube (set privacy to Unlisted).
- Copy the video link.
- Paste the link into your Gameflip Order Chat or Gameflip Support Ticket.
By following these recording steps and guidelines, you’ll be better prepared to protect your purchase and support your case if a question or dispute arises.
