Customizing Alerts and Notifications on Gameflip

Managing your Gameflip notification preferences allows you to customize push alerts and email updates for order status changes, buyer messages, followed listings, and promotional offers across web and mobile platforms. 

Important Notification & Permission Rules

• OS Authorization Required: In-app toggles will not deliver push alerts unless notifications are enabled in your device's operating system settings (e.g., in Settings > Apps > Gameflip > Notifications on Android or Settings > Notifications > Gameflip on iOS).
• Instant Preference Updates: Notification changes are saved immediately across your account.
• Essential Security Alerts: High-priority security and transaction notices (e.g., password resets, fraud alerts) may still be delivered to ensure account safety.

Step-by-Step Notification Settings by Device 

Option 1: Web Browser (Desktop & Mobile Web) 

1. Sign in to your Gameflip account at gameflip.com.
2. Navigate to Menu > Settings > Notifications.
3. Check or uncheck the types of notifications you want to receive (e.g., Messages, Listing Activity, Marketing).
4. Click Save to apply your changes when you're done.

Option 2: Gameflip Mobile App (iOS & Android) 

1. Open the Gameflip app and log in.
2. Tap the menu icon (☰) and go to Settings > Notifications.
3. Toggle each type of alert on or off according to your preferences.
4. Ensure your device’s system-level app notifications are enabled so Gameflip can send them.

How to Fix Missing or Delayed Notifications

If you have enabled alerts in the Gameflip app but are not receiving notifications, check your device settings:

• iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad): Go to Settings > Notifications > Gameflip. Ensure Allow Notifications is enabled.
• Android Devices: Go to Settings > Apps (or Apps & Notifications) > Gameflip > Notifications. Ensure Allow Notifications is toggled ON.
• App Updates: Verify that the Gameflip app is updated to the latest version in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Logging out and logging back in can also re-sync device push tokens.
