Congratulations — your item has been sold, and your order is now in the Processing phase. When a sale enters Processing status, Gameflip is actively conducting payment verification to confirm the buyer's purchase was authorized. During this phase, your item is locked and must not be delivered until payment verification clears.
Important "Processing" Status Rules
- Do Not Deliver Yet: Do not transfer in-game items, skins, or gift codes while an order is in Processing.
- Automatic Relisting: If payment verification fails or is canceled, Gameflip automatically relists your item—no manual relisting required.
- Seller Protection: Payment verification protects sellers from fraudulent buyers, chargebacks, and stolen payment methods.
Verification Timelines: What to Expect
| Transaction Type | Typical Processing Time | Why It Happens |
| Standard Orders | Under 5 minutes | Automated routine security and balance checks. |
| High-Value Orders | A few hours | Extended fraud review for larger transaction amounts. |
| New Buyer Accounts | Up to 24–48 hours | First-time purchase verification or regional location checks. |
What Happens During and After Processing
- Item Holds: Digital codes, gift cards, or in-game items remain locked in your inventory or the Gameflip Digital Vault while payment is verified.
- Order Approval: Once payment is verified, the order moves to Sold / Ready to Deliver. You will receive a notification to complete the transfer.
- Order Cancellation (If Failed): If the buyer fails payment verification, Gameflip cancels the transaction and automatically restores your listing to the active marketplace.
What to Do If Processing Takes Longer Than Expected
If an order remains in Processing status for more than 24 hours, check your Gameflip notification bell for account updates or contact Gameflip Support with the Order ID. Do not attempt to deliver the item directly to the buyer while processing is active.
