Using USDC and USDT Stablecoins on Gameflip

Gameflip supports USDC and USDT stablecoins on the Ethereum blockchain (ERC-20) for marketplace purchases. Deposited stablecoins convert 1:1 into USD Wallet funds without platform conversion fees to purchase games, gift cards, in-game items, and digital services. 

Your primary wallet for buying and selling remains the USD Wallet. If you use cryptocurrencies, we now have USDC and USDT wallets that you can deposit to and withdraw from the respective USDC and USDT Wallets on Gameflip.

Important Crypto Deposit & Conversion Rules

• Ethereum Network Only (ERC-20): Send USDC and USDT exclusively via the Ethereum Mainnet. Do NOT send tokens via Polygon, Solana, Arbitrum, or BNB Chain.
• One-Way USD Conversion: Converting USDC/USDT to your Gameflip USD Wallet is 1:1, fee-free, and permanent. USD Wallet funds cannot be converted back into cryptocurrency.
• Unconverted Balance Withdrawals: Any unconverted USDC or USDT remaining in your stablecoin wallet can be withdrawn back to an external crypto wallet at any time.

Step-by-Step Guide: Depositing and Converting Stablecoins

1. Connect External Web3 Wallet

Log in to Gameflip and navigate to Menu > Wallet. Locate the USDC Wallet or USDT Wallet widget and click Deposit. Connect your MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet when prompted.

2. Deposit USDC or USDT to Gameflip

Enter the deposit amount and click Deposit. Confirm the transaction in your crypto wallet app. Ensure your wallet holds sufficient Ethereum (ETH) to pay for Ethereum blockchain network gas fees.

3. Convert Stablecoins to Gameflip USD Balance

Once the blockchain transaction confirms, return to Menu > Wallet. Click Convert next to your stablecoin balance, enter the amount you want to convert to USD, accept the terms, and click Confirm.

4. Purchase Marketplace Listings

Your converted funds immediately appear in your Gameflip USD Wallet. You can now use this balance at checkout for any marketplace listing.

Important Crypto Security Precautions

• Verify Your Network: Always double-check that your Web3 wallet is connected to Ethereum Mainnet before sending funds. Sending tokens on unsupported layer-2 or non-EVM chains will cause permanent loss of assets.
• Blockchain Processing Delays: Blockchain confirmation speeds depend on Ethereum network traffic. Allow a few minutes for your deposit to register in your Gameflip wallet.
• Not a Currency Exchange: Gameflip does not support direct token-for-token swapping (e.g., converting USDC directly into USDT). Stablecoin deposits are provided strictly to facilitate shopping and payout withdrawals.
