At Gameflip, we aim to provide a clear and secure experience for sellers. As long as what you’re selling isn’t among our prohibited items, you can start listing. Selling most digital items requires ID verification. Some exceptions may be given for those who sell a few game items. However, frequent selling will require ID verification. Below are the requirements to sell different types of items.
For Gift Cards and Digital Games:
- You must have a valid, verified email address.
- You must complete ID verification before you can list and sell these types of items.
For Other Item Types:
- You must have a valid, verified email address.
- You need at least one credit or debit card added to your account (prepaid cards are not accepted).
These requirements help maintain the safety and legality of our marketplace.
Setting Up Your Seller Profile
When you list your first item, you’ll be prompted to set up your seller account. If your email or phone number isn’t verified yet, you’ll need to do that now. You’ll also be able to create a public store profile—choose a unique display name and custom avatar/background to make your brand stand out.

Verification
If you haven’t verified your identity yet, you’ll be asked to do so (you may use a credit/debit card for verification). Having your identity verified allows you to sell in all available categories.
Request for ID Verification
To get your ID verified go on Wallet > Verify (Or Document Verification on the app) > Identity.

Note: If you had your ID verification revoked or your credit/debit card removed from the system, you would lose the ability to sell on Gameflip.
