What are the requirements for selling on Gameflip?

At Gameflip, our core mission is to foster a marketplace that is both transparent and secure for all users. For sellers, our goal is to streamline the process of getting started, making it straightforward and hassle-free. Except for prohibited items, you're welcome to list and sell a wide range of gaming-related products. Here's a simplified overview of the requirements to sell different types of items on Gameflip:

For Gift Cards and Digital Games:

Email Verification: You must have a valid and verified email address.
ID Verification: It's essential to be ID-verified to list and sell these items.

For Other Item Types:

Email Verification: A valid and verified email address is required.
Payment Method: Your account must have at least one credit or debit card registered (note: prepaid cards are excluded).

These measures are in place to ensure that our community remains a safe space for buying and selling, and they reflect our commitment to legality and security. By meeting these simple requirements, you can swiftly begin selling and engaging with the Gameflip community.

Setting up your Seller Profile

When you create a listing for the first time, you will be prompted to set up your account. If you haven't yet verified your email address and phone number, you will need to do so at this time.

You are also prompted to set up your public (a.k.a store) profile. We recommend using custom images for your avatar and profile background, as well as taking on a unique display name for branding.

Verification

At this step, you will be asked to verify (if you have not already done so). You can choose to verify your identity with a credit/debit card. We recommend verifying your identity because, once verified, you will be allowed to sell in all available categories.
