Escrowed Payments
Payments from buyers are held in escrow by Gameflip. This protects you from scams, as buyers can only cancel a transaction if the item isn’t delivered within the promised timeframe. Once you mark the item as shipped, the payment is secured until the transaction is finalized.
Tip: For digital items, consider using auto-delivery to speed up payment release.
Zero Chargeback Liability
You are protected from chargebacks. If a buyer tries to claim an unauthorized refund or avoids payment for a return, Gameflip handles the dispute with the payment provider. This means you can focus on selling without worrying about chargeback losses.
Dispute Resolution Assistance
If a dispute arises, Gameflip will step in to help resolve it.
- For digital goods: Keep screenshots or videos showing the transfer process.
- For physical goods: Take clear photos of the item before packing and shipping.
Important: Keep your gift card receipts for at least 6 months after selling, as they may be needed in future disputes.
Reporting Buyers
If you notice a buyer violating policies, you can report them using the “Report” button on their profile. While Gameflip monitors activity, reports from sellers help us review accounts and protect the community more effectively.
