When a purchase or fund addition is flagged for review, it's our priority to confirm that you initiated the transaction. For this purpose, a 4-character verification code is generated and reflected in your credit/debit card statement. To complete the verification, here’s what you need to do:
Credit/Debit Card Verification:
- Access Your Statement: Log into the online portal of the credit card or bank account used for the transaction.
- Locate the Code: Look for the 4-character code in the payment statement, typically found under the "Activity" section. This code will precede the title of the item you purchased from Gameflip in the statement description.
- Code Appearance: Remember, the payment is still being processed at this stage, meaning the funds have not yet been deducted from your account. The code may take a few hours to appear, depending on your bank's processing times.
It's important to only provide the specific 4-character code requested. Please do not send us your card's CVV or any other numbers.
If you fail the payment verification process, your future purchases will be marked 'Under Review' until a Gameflip representative contacts you. It's crucial to understand that there's a limited window—just a few hours—to enter the verification code provided before your purchase gets canceled. This verification process is essential for confirming your ownership of the credit/debit card and its associated account, ensuring transactions are secure and authorized.
