How do I activate a Battle.net code?

To activate your Battle.net code—whether it’s a game key, balance, or in-game item—follow these simple steps. Most codes are region-locked, so be sure yours matches your Battle.net account region.

Step 1 – Go to the Battle.net Code Redemption Page

Log in to your Battle.net account on the website or through the Battle.net app. Once signed in, open the Code Redemption page.

Step 2 – Enter your code

Type (or paste) the code you purchased into the redemption field. Double-check that the characters match exactly. Region-locked codes will not work if your account region doesn’t match.

Step 3 – Confirm and use your content

Once the code is accepted, the game, balance, or item will be added to your Battle.net account. You can then install or use what you redeemed.

Troubleshooting

If you see an error when redeeming, check the following:
• Your Battle.net account region matches the code’s region.
• The code was entered correctly without extra spaces or characters.
