We aim to streamline your purchasing experience on our platform, recognizing that there may be times when you need to cancel an order. We understand that circumstances change, but it's important to remember that frequent cancellations can adversely affect our sellers by removing opportunities for them to make sales to other interested buyers. To help reduce the need for cancellations, we recommend the following preparatory steps before you complete a purchase.
- Review the Listing Thoroughly: Make sure to read the listing details carefully. Pay special attention to any regional restrictions, the seller's commitment to deliver (usually within 1-3 days), and any specific terms set by the seller.
- Verify Item Availability: For manually delivered or shipped items, confirm that the listing is up to date. If possible, contact the seller directly to check the item's availability and agree on a timely delivery.
Conditions for canceling a purchase:
- Immediately After Ordering: You can cancel within the first 1-2 minutes while the order is still processing.
- Order Under Review: If the order is being reviewed for security, you may cancel it (though cancellations during review could affect future purchase reviews).
- Delayed Delivery: If the seller fails to ship or send the item within the promised delivery window plus a 12-hour grace period (excluding auto or bot delivery), you can cancel.
- Before Shipping is Marked: If the seller hasn’t marked the item as “shipped,” you can ask them or cancel yourself.
- Violation of Guidelines: If delivery conditions break Gameflip rules (for instance, prohibited items), don’t accept delivery — open a dispute instead.
If your case doesn’t exactly match one of these situations, you can still ask the seller to cancel for you. Ultimately, it’s up to the seller to do so.
Immediately After Ordering.
If you've had a change of heart or accidentally made a purchase, you have a brief window of 1-2 minutes to cancel the order while it's still processing.
During Order Under Review
Orders may undergo a review process for your security, verifying that the purchase was authorized. Should you choose not to proceed with the review, you're able to cancel the order. However, be aware that doing so might delay future purchases, which could also require a review.
Delayed Delivery
If the seller fails to send or ship your item within the promised delivery period plus an additional 12-hour grace period, you're entitled to cancel. This does not apply to items with Auto Delivery or Bot Delivery.
If you suspect the seller has not actually shipped the item despite marking it as "Shipped," you have the option to dispute the transaction. Our Support Team will then guide you through the cancellation process. For guidance on how to initiate a dispute, please refer to our help section.
For physical items, it's important to note that if the seller issues a Shipping Label, this resets the waiting period, extending it by an additional day from the aforementioned steps.
By familiarizing yourself with these cancellation scenarios, you can navigate your purchases with confidence, knowing you're supported every step of the way.
