Looking to snag items or V-Bucks for Fortnite on Gameflip? Here’s a simple guide to help you purchase with confidence and get exactly what you’re after.
Three Listing Types You’ll Encounter
When buying Fortnite items, you’ll see one of these delivery types in the listing:
• Gift cards / redemption codes – A code to redeem for V-Bucks or items.
• Gifts from Item Shop – The seller sends the item directly in Fortnite.
• Save the World items – These are delivered via in-game drop through private sessions.
For both of them, you will be covered by the Gameflip Guarantee as long as the item is not delivered as described in the listing. Below, you will find instructions on how to succeed in purchasing Fortnite items on Gameflip.
Fortnite Gift Cards
-
On the checkout page, check your correct platform and region, since some codes work only in specific regions or on specific platforms.
- Choose listings marked Auto-Delivery for instant codes, or Manual-Delivery if the code is sent later.
-
Redeem your code via the official platform’s redeem page. Make sure the platform and account region match the code’s requirements.
- If the code is valid but cannot be redeemed due to region/platform issues, the Gameflip Guarantee does not cover this scenario — check carefully before you buy.
Keep in mind that if you purchase a code not redeemable in the platform and region of your account, but is working as described, unfortunately, the Gameflip Guarantee can't be extended to such cases and refunds won't be assured.
Receiving items as gifts
-
Enter your Fortnite account name accurately on the checkout page so the seller can send the gift correctly.
- Decide on the items you want ahead of time and mention full names and prices to the seller. You may also upload a screenshot of your desired items.
- The transfer can happen while you’re offline—wait until you receive the item and confirm delivery.
- Once the item appears in your inventory, mark the order as complete on Gameflip.
Save the World items
-
Enter your Fortnite account name so the seller can send a friend request.
- Set a date and time to meet in game for the item drop (note: time zone differences can apply).
- Join the server, wait for the seller to drop the item(s), then confirm you received them.
- When satisfied, go back to Gameflip and complete the transaction.
Final Checks & Completion
• Always verify that the item or code matches the listing description (platform, amount, region, rarity).
• Do not click Complete Transaction until you’re sure you received the correct item — once completed, you cannot open a dispute.
• If you have any doubts, use the “Hold Transaction” option to pause auto-completion and allow support to intervene.
Recording your in-game session while receiving the item may help to protect you in case there are any issues during its delivery. This video will help Gameflip support investigate the issue and decide a dispute in your favor, if feasible. For more information about disputes, check our FAQ article How to open a dispute?
Happy buying — enjoy your Fortnite items and trade with confidence!
