Want to list your Steam items (like skins or in-game items) and have them automatically delivered via Gameflip’s bot feature? Here's a detailed, step-by-step guide to help you get started and simplify your selling process.
Step 1 – Start Your Listing
• Log into your Gameflip account on the website (not via app).
• Click the “Start Selling” button in the top-right corner.
• Select In-Game Items as the category, and pick a supported Steam game (such as CS:GO, Dota 2, or other eligible titles).
Step 2 – Connect Your Steam Account
If you haven’t already linked your Steam account:
• Click the Steam button and sign in to grant Gameflip access.
• After linking, you’ll have access to your Steam inventory directly from Gameflip.
• The connection only needs to be done once.
Once connected, you can view your item inventory: items available for sale will be selectable; items with a trade hold or other restriction appear greyed out.
Step 3 – Select the Item to Sell
• From your Steam inventory window on Gameflip, pick the item you want to list.
• Click Select—Gameflip will automatically fill in the image and description for you.
Step 4 – Deposit the Item into Bot Escrow
• Click the “Deposit Item” link. A pop-up will explain that your item must be traded to Gameflip’s bot within 5 minutes.
• Click Start Bot Trade, and Steam will open a trade offer from the bot.
• In the trade offer:
- Confirm the contents of the trade.
- Proceed with the trade and accept it in Steam.
On mobile or if using Steam Guard, ensure you also confirm the trade via Steam’s confirmation process.
• After confirmation, return to Gameflip and click “I’ve completed Bot Trade”.
Step 5 – Set Your Price and List the Item
• Enter the price you’d like to sell your item for.
• Choose an expiration time for your listing.
• Click Done and choose whether to list it immediately or save it for later editing.
Congratulations—your Steam item is now listed with automatic bot delivery!
Optional: Retrieve Your Item from the Bot
If you listed the item but changed your mind before it sells, you can retrieve it from the bot using the method described in our “How to Retrieve My Skin Back from a Bot” article.
Important Seller Tips & Safety Notes
• Only list items for games that support Steam Bot delivery.
• Do not share your Steam credentials or trade offers with anyone outside the official Gameflip bot process.
• Be aware of impersonators offering unauthorized bot services. If something feels off (e.g., you receive a trade offer not clearly marked as from Gameflip), stop and change your password, enable Steam Guard, and submit a support ticket.
• Items listed via bots must be deposited into Gameflip’s system—items still in your Steam inventory or held in a trade hold cannot be sold until cleared.
By following these steps, you can take advantage of Gameflip’s automated Steam Bot delivery system—making the listing process faster, safer, and more efficient.
