A Gameflip Subscription Sales Cap is the maximum cumulative sales volume (excluding shipping) eligible for reduced commission and waived digital fees during a single 30-day billing cycle. Once your completed sales reach this limit, subsequent sales revert to standard marketplace selling fees until your next billing cycle begins.
Important Subscription & Sales Cap Rules
- Item Price Limit: To qualify for reduced fees, an item's listed price must be less than or equal to your remaining cap balance. If an item's price exceeds your remaining cap, the entire sale is subject to standard fees.
- Automatic Reinstatement: If an order is canceled or refunded due to a dispute or buyer return, the sale amount is restored to your active sales cap balance.
- Cycle Resets: Sales caps reset automatically every 30 days on your subscription renewal date.
Sales Cap Eligibility Matrix
To qualify for the subscription fees, a listed item must cost less than or equal to the remaining cap balance. The table below illustrates how listing prices determine fee eligibility based on your remaining cap balance:
| Subscription Cap | Current Sales Used | Remaining Cap Room | Listing Item Price | Discount Eligibility Status |
| $500 USD | $0 USD | $500 USD | $500 USD | Eligible (Reduced Fees Applied) |
| $500 USD | $200 USD | $300 USD | $300 USD | Eligible (Reduced Fees Applied) |
| $500 USD | $200 USD | $300 USD | $450 USD | Not Eligible (Standard Fees Apply) |
| $500 USD | $500 USD | $0 USD | Any Price | Not Eligible (Standard Fees Apply) |
Step-by-Step: How to Check Your Remaining Sales Cap
- Log into your account on the Gameflip website or mobile app.
- Navigate to Menu > Wallet > Subscription.
- View your active Subscription Plan dashboard to check your Current Sales Used, Remaining Sales Cap Balance, and Cycle End Date.
What Happens When an Order Is Canceled?
If a completed transaction that contributed toward your sales cap is later canceled (due to a dispute, refund, or buyer’s remorse), Gameflip automatically credits that dollar amount back to your subscription cap. This gives you back the eligible cap room and allows you to continue using your subscription benefits for other sales.
If you have questions about your sales cap or want to understand how it applies to your specific plan — just log into your Gameflip account and visit Menu > Wallet > Subscription for full details.
