How to buy using FLP on Gameflip

Purchasing items with FLP (the FLIP Token) on Gameflip is nearly identical to a standard purchase—just with a few differences.

• The listing must accept FLP as a payment option (some listings may accept USD only).
• You must have a sufficient FLP balance in your FLP Wallet.
• If a listing accepts both USD and FLP, you may use either or a mix of both currencies.

Web/Mobile Web

1. Browse listings and look for price displays in FLP (or both USD and FLP).
2. Open the listing and check the “Accept currency” section to confirm FLP is enabled.
3. Click Buy. If you have adequate FLP, you’ll see FLP listed as the payment method.
4. After purchase and seller delivery, you can view how many FLP and/or USD were used under Menu > Wallet > Activity.
5. Gameflip uses your Credits first (USD or FLP), then FLP, and finally USD from your wallet balance.

When browsing listings on Gameflip, you will notice that some listings will show both USD and FLP prices.  These listings accept FLP.  Listings showing only USD prices will only accept USD.

To know whether a listing accepts a combination of USD and FLP, you will need to see its listing details and check the "Accept currency" to see what currency the seller accepts.

When you click "Buy" the listing and have sufficient FLP, you will see the order showing that you are paying with FLP.

Alternatively, if the listing accepts both USD and FLP, and your USD and FLP wallets have sufficient, you will see in the order that you are paying with both currencies.

After you complete the purchase and rate the seller, your Menu > Wallet > Activity will show how much FLP and USD were used in the purchases.

When paying with both USD and FLP, the source of funds will come from both wallets.  Your Credits (USD or FLP) will always be used first, and then your FLP before your USD funds.

iOS App

1. Browse listings, noting those priced in FLP or in both USD and FLP.
2. On the listing, check the payment method section to verify FLP is supported.
3. Tap Buy. FLP will be deducted from your wallet just like on the website.
4. After the transaction, go to Menu > Wallet > Activity to view your payment breakdown.

When browsing listings on the Gameflip iOS App, you will notice that some listings will show both USD and FLP.  These listings accept FLP.  Listings showing only USD prices will only accept USD.

You can view the details as you would normally and notice that it accepts FLP as payment.  

You can tap "Buy" to make purchases, and FLP will be deducted from your FLP wallet/account as it does on the website.

By following these steps, you can confidently purchase items on Gameflip using FLP—just like you would with USD!
