How to Deposit FLP Tokens into Your Gameflip Wallet

Depositing FLIP Tokens (FLP) into Gameflip moves your ERC-20 tokens from a private crypto wallet into your Gameflip account. Transfers take place on the Ethereum blockchain and require network gas fees paid in Ethereum (ETH). 

Important Crypto & Deposit Rules

  • Ethereum (ERC-20) Network Only: Only send FLP from non-custodial, ERC-20 compatible wallets (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or MyEtherWallet). Do not send FLP directly from centralized exchanges or smart contract wallets.
  • Web-Only Feature: FLP deposits cannot be initiated inside the Gameflip native mobile apps (iOS/Android). Use a Desktop Web or Mobile Web Browser.
  • Gas Fees Required: Your personal wallet must contain a small balance of Ethereum (ETH) to pay network gas fees for broadcasting the transfer.
  • 10 Network Confirmations: Deposits remain Pending until the Ethereum network records at least 10 confirmations (typically 2–5 minutes depending on gas price and network congestion).

Step-by-Step Instructions: Depositing FLP 

Option 1: Desktop Web Browser

  1. Log in to your Gameflip account and navigate to Menu > Wallet > FLP Wallet.
  2. Click Deposit.
  3. Connect your Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask extension) or copy your unique Gameflip FLP Deposit Address. 
  4. Open your external wallet, enter the amount of FLP you want to deposit, and click Deposit again to generate your unique deposit address.
  5. Copy and paste your Gameflip deposit address into the recipient field. (Always copy and paste—never type addresses manually).  Make sure you have enough ETH to cover the gas fee since these tokens use the Ethereum network.
  6. Confirm the transaction in your wallet and pay the required ETH gas fee.
  7. Track progress under Menu > Wallet > Activity. Your balance will update once 10 blockchain confirmations are complete.

Option 2: Mobile Web Browser

FLP deposits are not supported in the Gameflip mobile app. Instead:

  1. Open your mobile web browser (Safari or Chrome) and log in to Gameflip.com.
  2. Follow the same web-based steps above via Menu > Wallet > FLP Wallet.
  3. Tap Deposit, copy your unique deposit address, and switch to your mobile crypto wallet app to broadcast the transaction. 

Common Deposit Issues & Troubleshooting

Issue Cause Solution
Deposit showing "Pending" Waiting for 10 blockchain confirmations. Check the transaction hash on Etherscan to monitor real-time block confirmations.
Transaction Failed / Out of Gas Low ETH balance or gas limit set too low in external wallet. Re-attempt the transaction with a higher gas limit and ensure your wallet holds sufficient ETH.
Deposit missing entirely Sent via a non-ERC-20 network or from an unsupported exchange wallet. Contact Gameflip Support with your transaction hash (TxHash), though non-ERC-20 transfers may be unrecoverable.

Important Notes

  • Check the deposit address carefully before transferring — copy and paste it directly from Gameflip to minimize errors.
  • If the network is busy, allow extra time for confirmations.
  • Gameflip staff cannot reverse deposits once submitted—double-check all details to avoid mistakes.

With these steps, you’ll deposit FLP securely and avoid common pitfalls—allowing you to use your tokens to buy or list items on Gameflip effortlessly.
