When selling sessions within Gameflip, it's mandatory for sellers to provide proof of delivery before concluding a transaction. Here are the steps to ensure you have adequate evidence of delivery to prevent disputes:
- Private Information: Do not share your Epic ID, Gamertag/in-game name, or PSN name publicly in your listing or the public comments. Instead, share this information privately with the buyer in the Sold Item private message section post-purchase. This assists our support team in verifying the buyer's in-game name.
- Capture Evidence: Take screenshots or record videos during the play session as evidence for delivery. For example, request a screenshot from the buyer showing their rank or number of wins before and after the session, shared privately between you two.
- Save Chat Logs: Keep screenshots of any relevant conversations held outside Gameflip that pertain to the session. If the session is on a console, clear photos can serve as proof, provided they are of high quality.
- Submit Evidence: Post-session, submit all the collected evidence to finalize the transaction. This documentation is crucial, especially if a dispute arises, as insufficient evidence could lead to a dispute loss.
Recording Evidence Tips:
- Xbox Series: Press the Xbox button, then the View button for capture options. Choose "Record from now" with “A”. To stop, press the Xbox button then X.
- PlayStation 5: Double-tap the "Share" button to start recording.
- PC: Use Windows 10’s built-in tool or third-party software like Fraps. More information can be found here.
- Nintendo Switch: Hold down the Capture button to save the last 30 seconds of gameplay. The clip will be stored in your Album, from where you can edit or share it.
Following these guidelines ensures you're prepared and protected against any disputes by providing clear evidence of your delivered services.
