We value your presence in the Gameflip community, but we recognize that there may come a time when you decide to move on. Should you choose not to use Gameflip any longer, we offer options to accommodate your needs, whether you're considering a temporary hiatus or a permanent departure.
Taking a Break:
If you're contemplating a temporary break rather than a permanent goodbye, we encourage you to consider deactivating your account instead. This option allows you to preserve your account and information for when you're ready to return. To proceed with temporary deactivation, simply reach out with your request, and we'll guide you through the process.
Permanent Account Deletion:
For those who decide on a permanent deletion of their account and all associated information, here’s how you can initiate the process:
- Through the App: Log into your Gameflip app, navigate to "Settings," and select "Account Deletion." You'll be asked to confirm your decision.
- Contact Support: Alternatively, you can directly contact our Support Team with a request for account deletion. Our team will assist you with the necessary steps.
What happens when your account is deleted?
If you haven't made any transactions, your personal data is often quickly disassociated and subsequently removed from your account.
If you have made a transaction, deletion of your personal data will be honored pursuant to applicable laws, or otherwise to the extent it is no longer necessary for any services or required, such as legal or contractual record-keeping requirements (e.g. records for tax filing). Such retention of personal data is only as long as necessary and might include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Mandated by law, contract, or similar obligations applicable to our business operations;
- For preserving, resolving, defending, or enforcing our legal/contractual rights; or
- It is necessary to maintain adequate and accurate business and financial records.

Once the account is deleted, you will not be able to reactivate your account, and we will not be able to service your account through any support requests. For your protection, we do not use or give out any information from any accounts created on Gameflip.
